THE BLOG OF LOS ANGELES CONTEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS

|| FROM THE LACE ARCHIVES ||
"The LACE archive represents a crucial site of cultural history for southern California. The past three decades have featured diverse and diffuse practices and the LACE archival stores are one of the primary sources of information of this important work." -welcometolace.org
From The LACE Archives is a new tumblr series of LACE’s publications & print ephemera posted by me, Ashley Soo, LACE’s current archives intern. I have been archiving material from Los Angeles Goes Live this summer and will be posting my favorite finds from both the archives and the ephemera wall that used to be on display in the front gallery of our space in Hollywood. I have learned so much about performance art since I started my internship here, and can’t wait to share my findings with you!
If you are interested in learning more about LACE’s archives, our limited edition boxed set, LACE Living the Archives: Selected Publications & Print Ephemera from the LACE Archives 1978 – 2008 is available by clicking the above picture.
