Your Turn to Roll It #56 || by the Kipper Kids || Photo by John Duncan
More than 600 people showed up to see Harry Kipper and Harry Kipper get naked and vulgar, sing loud English pub tunes, and throw around food at anyone in the near vicinity. For this performance, one Kipper beat himself with a boxing glove until he began to bleed while the other Kipper wiped after him with water and beer. Following that, the Kippers threw Spagetti-O’s, flour and ink at the bodies of their cheering fans.
Your Turn to Roll It #56 was part of Spirit Resurrection, commissioned by LACE as part of Los Angeles Goes Live: Performance Art in Southern California. This picture was included on the ephemera wall at LACE in Hollywood, CA.
